Instructions for Authors

Welcome to the Journal of Advanced Computing Systems (JACS). We are grateful for your interest in contributing to our journal. To ensure a seamless submission and review process, please adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Scope and Types of Submissions

JACS accepts various types of contributions, including:

  • Original Research Articles: Detailed studies presenting novel research findings.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive overviews of current knowledge and trends, including critical analyses.
  • Case Studies: In-depth reports on specific implementations or incidents.
  • Technical Notes: Brief accounts of innovative technologies, methodologies, or techniques.

2. Manuscript Preparation

General Guidelines:

  • Manuscripts must be in English and submitted as Microsoft Word or LaTeX files.
  • Use a standard font, such as Times New Roman, size 12, with double-spacing and 1-inch margins.
  • Number all pages consecutively and include line numbers for ease of review.

Structure:

  • Title Page: Provide the manuscript title, author names, affiliations, and contact details of the corresponding author.
  • Abstract: Summarize key findings and significance in 150–250 words.
  • Keywords: List 3–5 relevant keywords.
  • Introduction: Describe the background, objectives, and importance of the study.
  • Methodology: Outline the methods and procedures employed in the research.
  • Results: Present findings clearly and systematically.
  • Discussion: Interpret results, discuss implications, and compare them with previous research.
  • Conclusion: Highlight key findings and propose future research directions.
  • References: Format citations and references in APA style.
  • Figures and Tables: Reference figures and tables in the text, ensuring each is numbered and includes a caption.

Supplementary Materials:

Submit supplementary files (e.g., datasets, code, or additional figures) separately, if applicable.

3. Submission Process

Online Submission:

Manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission system. Authors must create an account if they do not have one.

Cover Letter:

A cover letter should accompany the submission. This letter should briefly explain the importance of the work, its relevance to JACS, and disclose any conflicts of interest.

Ethical Considerations:

  • Ensure adherence to ethical research standards, including required approvals and permissions.
  • Disclose any funding sources and conflicts of interest.

4. Review Process

Peer Review:

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are selected based on their subject matter expertise.

Revisions:

Authors may need to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts should be accompanied by a detailed response letter addressing the feedback.

Publication Ethics:

Manuscripts must be original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration elsewhere.

5. Post-Acceptance

Proofreading:

Authors will receive proofs of accepted manuscripts for final review. Promptly review and return proofs to avoid delays in publication.

Publication Fees:

JACS does not charge any fees for manuscript submission or publication.

Copyright:

Upon acceptance, authors must sign a copyright transfer agreement.
