Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly transformed numerous industries, from healthcare and finance to cybersecurity and sustainability. This comprehensive survey systematically reviews 120 recent studies published between 2023 and 2026, covering AI applications in medical natural language processing, intelligent content generation, privacy-preserving machine learning, biomedical discovery, financial risk management, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, document intelligence, and AI for social good. We organize these studies into thematic sections, analyze methodological innovations and cross-domain synergies, and present comparative tables summarizing key contributions. Our survey identifies critical trends including the convergence of multimodal learning, the growing adoption of federated learning and differential privacy, the rise of explainable AI, and the emergence of large language model-based applications. We conclude by discussing open challenges and future research directions.
