Editorial Policies

The Journal of Advanced Computing Systems (JACS) invites authors to submit original and innovative research articles within the journal’s defined aims and scope. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and scientific quality. Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the online submission system and should not be under review or consideration by any other publication at the time of submission. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the content is original, unpublished, and not subject to copyright restrictions by any other entity.

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must align with the aims and scope of the journal.
  • All submissions are free of charge and must be made through the online submission platform.
  • Authors must ensure that the work is not under review elsewhere.
  • Submissions must conform to the journal’s formatting and ethical standards as outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Review Process

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to verify compliance with the journal’s standards, scope, and ethical guidelines. Manuscripts deemed suitable are then sent for Double-Blind Peer Review by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the Editors make the final decision to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript. The editorial office ensures fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality throughout the review process.

Key Responsibilities of Editors

  • Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.
  • Ensure that the Double-Blind Peer Review process is applied consistently.
  • Evaluate submissions solely based on academic merit, without discrimination or conflict of interest.
  • Uphold the integrity and ethical standards of scholarly publishing as guided by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Timeline and Corrections

The average duration from submission to publication is approximately 3–5 months, depending on the number of reviews and the promptness of author revisions. Authors are required to respond to reviewer comments within the specified timeline. Any identified errors during the editorial or production stages must be corrected immediately to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the published content. Correction or retraction policies will be applied following COPE guidelines if necessary.

Policy on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)

The Journal of Advanced Computing Systems (JACS) upholds transparency and ethical standards in the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools in scholarly publishing. Authors must disclose any use of AI-assisted technologies (such as ChatGPT or similar tools) during manuscript preparation. These tools may only be used to improve language, grammar, or clarity and must not be used to generate core scientific content, data, analysis, or conclusions. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, as authorship implies accountability for the intellectual content of the work. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their manuscripts.

Editors and reviewers may use AI tools only to assist in technical tasks such as language checking but AI tools must not influence editorial or peer review decisions

Important Notes

  • Authors are encouraged to respond promptly and comprehensively to reviewer comments.
  • Delays in author responses may extend the overall publication timeline.
  • Corrections or revisions must be submitted in a timely manner to prevent publication delays.
